Jazz Unlimited teaches Urban Ignition Hip Hop. It is an examination-based syllabus which is provided and professionally supported by the Asia Pacific Dance Association, which has studios around the world. If you want to learn a fresh, fun and creative style of street dance, then Urban Ignition Hip Hop is for you. Classes are structured and focussed, with a strong emphasis placed on performance and technique. There are 12 levels.

Great dance teachers care about their students. Our team of experienced teachers is professionally trained, up to speed with all syllabus requirements, and great dancers themselves, but more importantly, they are thorough, patient, kind, and passionate about what they do – and their students perform really well in all settings, including exams. They nurture and guide students in a calm and happy environment.
All students are expected to sit exams and dance in our end-of-year Show. Exam results are excellent, and include top-in-NZ awards.
After moving out of Hamilton last year we trialled a new studio closer to home. It is very pressure orientated, as if training prima ballerinas. She decided to stop altogether as she’s not enjoying their studio culture. I liked how your dance school has a more friendly, welcoming environment.
